What are the restaurant opening times and days?

dede, is open for dinner from 6.00 Thursday to Saturday and Wednesday to Saturday in July and August, our latest seating is 9.00 pm and we open for Saturday and Sunday lunch, reservations are from 12.30 to 2.30 we also open for Friday lunch in July August. We have three menu options, carnivore, pescetarian and vegetarian.

Let us know when are booking any dietary requirements and we will be happy to cater for these, we always have a gluten free option.

How can I make a reservation at dede?

We take reservations for dede’s online through a third party reservation system via our website www.customshousebaltimore.com. Credit card details are needed to confirm your booking, an email confirmation will be sent to you after booking to confirm your reservation, no payment is taken, this is to secure the table and for payment in the event of a no show. Credit card details are securely held through Stripe, https://stripe.com/ie, a payments system.

Do you have a waiting list to which I can be added?

Yes, if there is a day you are interested in but it’s fully booked it is also possible to add yourself to our waiting list online or by calling the restaurant on 028-48248. We receive cancellations and if a table becomes available we will contact you.

Arrivals

What happens if I arrive late?

As we are a small restaurant we make our tables available at different times to enable our team to create the finest quality food and have the time that they need to do this, so it is very important to us that you arrive on time.

Please call the restaurant if you are running more than 15 minutes late on 028-20200.

If you arrive very late to your booking or outside of our service times, we may not be able to accommodate you and reserve the right to charge you the full cost of the menu.

If I have a question about an existing reservation?

If you have a question about an existing booking please email us at info@customshousebaltimore.com, you can make changes to your reservation through our on-line booking system.

Will I receive any other communications regarding my reservation?

Yes. Once you have made a reservation you will receive a confirmation email. Five days prior to your reservation date you will receive a reminder email. We will also call you to confirm and to check dietaries.

What is our cancellation policy?

As we are a small business and prepare food in advance for each booked guest, it is very important that we are made aware of any cancellations or changes to the number of guests.

Cancellations or amendments can only be made via the link in the confirmation email. We require all cancellations and changes in guest numbers to be made at least 48 hours before the time of your reservation.

If you wish to cancel with less notice than 48 hours of arrival, or a no show occurs then we reserve the right to charge a late cancellation fee of the cost of the dinner menu per guest. If you make a reservation but the requested number of guests do not arrive then we also reserve the right to charge a no-show fee of the cost of the set menu per guest.

If there are circumstances that are beyond our control that affect our ability to provide the highest quality of food or other adverse conditions, we reserve the right to cancel a booking.

How can I make a booking for a large group?

As we are a small restaurant, we can comfortably accommodate tables of up to 8 people, for any larger groups please contact the restaurant at info@customshousebaltimore.com.

What is on the menu?

The menu is constantly changing according to availability of produce from the seasons and the availability of ingredients from our local growers. We are very fortunate in West Cork and to have the finest ingredients and produce.

At dede we have chosen to offer one menu to all guests for dinner, the menu has a number of servings starting with snacks, then main courses and dessert.

We also offer a specially selected wine list. We offer bottled sparkling water, our table water is filtered through a filtration system in the restaurant.

Younger Guests

Younger guests are welcome especially during the day, we would not recommend children under 12 for dede fine dining unless they have a well developed palate and do not offer a children’s menu.

Do you have a dress code?

We have a relaxed atmosphere and as such we have no specific dress code. However, we encourage our guests to dress smart-casual.

Do you accept credit cards?

Apart from American express we accept all major credit cards. We also accept cash payments.

Do you have access for wheelchairs?

Our restaurant has been designed for wheelchair access and seating, we also have a disabled bathroom. Please advise us of your needs in advance by emailing us at info@customshousebaltimore.com and we will assign the most suitable table.
